Youngmin Kim

Communicator, Organizer, and Doer

In 2015, I started working as a Product Designer at Cardoc, a vehicle maintenance O2O service in South Korea. As an 11th member of a small startup, I had a chance to grow up with the company’s growth. As the only designer with four developers, I designed and launched various digital platforms, iOS, Android apps, and Web landing pages, actively collaborating with different roles.

Even though I was working with a great team at Cardoc, I wanted to grow as a UX designer and gain more skills and knowledge about UX Research and Design. In 2018, I moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, and studied analyzing user behavior, defining problems, and usability testing for two years of study. I graduated in 2020 with a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction and User Experience Design.

Starting in 2021, I have been a senior UX/UI designer at Excelerate America, leading the product team and designing user experiences for our group purchasing platform for small business entrepreneurs.
